The New Normal In
CARING FOR YOU

This is out of an abundance of caution for our staff, our guests and our community. We’ve made many internal changes to our salon procedures but we wanted to share the ones that will affect you at your visit.

  • Please come alone to your appointment.
  • We will not accommodate extra family members, children or friends. If they come with you, they will need to wait outside.
  • No handshakes or hugs for us at this time either please!
  • All guests will be required to wear a mask that hooks behind the ears (all staff members are required to wear masks as well). We will do our best to apply your hair color without getting it on your mask. It would be best to use a disposable mask if you are concerned with hair color stains. We also have disposable masks for sale for $3.
  • When you arrive to the salon, please wait outside our front door and a front desk coordinator will greet you to start the check-in process. You may also call us from your car to check-in.
  • If your stylist is ready for you, we will welcome you inside and check your temperature to ensure it is below 100.4 degrees. We’ll ask that you use hand sanitizer or wash your hands in the restroom. We will then ask if you have received and signed the liability waiver/questionnaire through text. If not, no worries, we have paper versions at our salon. The front desk coordinator will then escort you to your stylist’s chair.
  • If your stylist is not quite ready for you, we will ask you to wait outside or in your car until the previous guest has left and we have sanitized the area. This will eliminate extra people in the salon at one time and allow us to clean the styling station.
  • We will not be having you change into color robes. Please wear an older T-shirt or something that has a lower neckline. We will be using styling capes as usual (which are always washed in between uses).
  • Guests will be seated at every other station and 6 feet apart in the lounge.
  • We will not be offering beverages at this time, please bring your own water with you.
  • All styling stations are equipped with hand sanitizer.
  • All employees are up-to-date with all sanitation certifications, including the Covid-19 sanitization regulations.
  • All employees are required to wash their hands or sanitize frequently including prior to each guest and at the end of each service.
  • We are continually sanitizing the salon throughout the day. Each and every chair is sanitized after every use. Every piece of equipment is sanitized after every service including: clips, shears, color brushes and applicators, hair brushes, combs, blow dryers and clippers.

Please know how very important providing excellent service is to us. These new measures we are taking are temporary until we can get back to the high standards that you’ve come to expect from us. We hope that will be sooner rather than later!

We have a strict policy restricting our salon employees to operate outside of our licensed establishment for the health and safety of you, your family, our employees and their families.

We sincerely appreciate your support. This situation has certainly brought on some challenges, but we are determined to rise to the occasion with a positive attitude and a high level of professionalism. As these circumstances are ever-changing, they will require our constant attention and re-evaluation. We ask that you please be patient with us and make the necessary adjustments.

Respectfully,
One Salon
