Through this entire pandemic, we have kept the health and safety of our guests and our team at the forefront of our decision making. Recently our salon has received many inquiries of how we are moving forward with the most recent CDC guidelines.

The CDC and top scientists have recently determined that two weeks after individuals are fully vaccinated that they should be safe from contracting or spreading COVID-19. As such, the CDC has issued guidance which suggests that it is safe for fully vaccinated individuals to forgo the use of a mask in certain environments.

Therefore, for our guests and staff who voluntarily provide evidence of being vaccinated against COVID-19, you have a choice … you may continue to wear a mask, or you may choose not to wear a mask while in the salon. Our intention is that you enjoy the same services that every other member of our community receives, but without the need to wear a face mask if you so choose.

With the CDC’s new guidance in mind, and because of the nature of a salon service and the inability to social distance within a salon environment, we are still requiring the use of face masks for those who have not been vaccinated. We have been, and will remain, open to serve our clients and our community regardless of their decision or ability to receive a COVID-19 vaccination, which practice is in compliance with Governor DeSantis’ Executive Order 21-81.

We understand that there are many opinions on this matter, and we respect everyone and their personal choice; however, health and safety being the new luxury will always be our number one priority.

We will continue to routinely clean and sanitize after each and every customer visit. We look forward to a future where we can safely see smiling faces throughout the salon again.”

  • We will do our best to apply your hair color without getting it on your mask if you choose to wear one. It would be best to use a disposable mask if you are concerned with hair color stains. We also have disposable masks for sale for $1.
  • When you arrive we’ll ask that you use hand sanitizer or wash your hands in the restroom. The front desk coordinator will then escort you to your stylist’s chair.
  • If your stylist is not quite ready for you, we will ask you to wait up front, outside or in your car until the previous guest has left and we have sanitized the area. This will eliminate extra people in the salon at one time and allow us to clean the styling station.
  • All styling stations are equipped with hand sanitizer.
  • All employees are up-to-date with all sanitation certifications, including the Covid-19 sanitization regulations.
  • All employees are required to wash their hands or sanitize frequently including prior to each guest and at the end of each service.
  • We are continually sanitizing the salon throughout the day. Each and every chair is sanitized after every use. Every piece of equipment is sanitized after every service including: clips, shears, color brushes and applicators, hair brushes, combs, blow dryers and clippers.

Please know how very important providing excellent service is to us.

We have a strict policy restricting our salon employees to operate outside of our licensed establishment for the health and safety of you, your family, our employees and their families.

We sincerely appreciate your support. This situation has certainly brought on some challenges, but we are determined to rise to the occasion with a positive attitude and a high level of professionalism. As these circumstances are ever-changing, they will require our constant attention and re-evaluation. We ask that you please be patient with us and make the necessary adjustments.

With Care & Gratitude,

One Salon Team
